Well - excuses in advance - I am not sure, whether this is really a case with
Mozilla - have a look:

Since a couple of days I can not use my OE6/httpmail anymore.
When I first started (this special build of ) Mozilla and than OE6, I can do the
synchronisation, but going to open a mail will crash OE6.
The reason why this is here: calender is webdav - OE6/httpmail too.
So it might be a coincedence, or a problem.

it seems to be - very much - related to jscript and html-code within the mail.
Mostly the crash will happen, when a jscript is executed or requests permitt to
be exceuted.

Debugger/Dr.Watson returns, that error happens in function
MSHTML.dll/CreateHTMLPropertyPage.
