I've problem with Mozilla Thunderbird e-mail client and its addon Calendar. When
I enter new event and its "Name" field - after confirmation all is displayed OK.
But  as soon as I close whole Thunderbird and restart it again - in the "Name"
field in this event is showed only first 20 characters !?
Second problem is that if the Calendar addon instaled but not started from
toolbar (or menu) than nothing alarms are not dislplayed while Calendar is not
running. So there is no reason why install this addon - using standalone APP
Sunbird have same effect.

What version of Thunderbird are you using?  (Thunderbird: Help | About)
What version of calendar are you using? (Calendar: Help | About)

I assume what you call the "Name" field is called the "Title" field in the
English version.

I was not able to reproduce the problem.  A long event title reappeared intact
after restarting.  (TB 1.0, Calendar 2005011105-cal)

Does it happen for any title, or only for particular characters?

    We cannot move forward with your bug report until you give us more
information.  Like geka, I have tried to reproduce the 'Name' bug, but have been
unable to.  Can you please provide your build information?  Also, did the name
you were typing use accented characters?  If that's the case, it may be related
to bug 173039.

Note: With respect to your second request about alarms when Sunbird/Calendar
isn't open, this is already being dealt with in bug 134969.

If you are still having this problem, please give us as much information as
possible to reproduce this bug.  Otherwise, please close this bug report.

Sorry that I didn't answer soon but I was ill for two weeks.
I try to solve my problem so that I create new profile (calendar file) and now
is all correct. But to specify my configuration - there is installed:
Thunderbird 1.0  - czech localization with Calendar 0.8.2+ extension
MiSu
