Details

(Whiteboard: DUPEME)

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

When the Firefox window is opened on the primary display of a dual-display
system in extended desktop mode, then the window is moved to the secondary
display, the menus and other dropdowns continue to appear on the primary
display. Problem does not appear to occur when Firefox is started on the
secondary display and moved to primary.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. On a dual-monitor machine, configure Windows to display only on primary
monitor (this ensures that Firefox will open on that display)
2. Open Firefox
3. Configure Windows to use the secondary display for the extended desktop
3. Move Firefox window to the extended desktop area
4. Open a menu
Actual Results:
Menus and other dropdowns (e.g., autocomplete in address bar) appear on primary
display instead of secondary.

Expected Results:
Menus should appear in the same display as the Firefox window.

Computer in question is an IBM Thinkpad R51 with Intel 82852/82855 GM chipset
(16 MB video RAM), running Windows XP SP2 and the latest display drivers
available from IBM.
