User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050131 Firefox/1.0+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050131 Firefox/1.0+ In the page http://www.hhs.fuhsd.org/ the menu located on the left column appears fine until the mouse is brought over the top of the menu. The submenus don't appear. This does not occur using the MS Explorer browser. The page is from Homestead High School, a public school. Perhaps they have not used standard coding. I am no expert so I could not tell. Here is some code where the problem occurs: mymenu.addMenu("information","<b>information ></b>", "") mymenu.addMenu("classes","<b>classes ></b>", "") mymenu.addMenu("activities","<b>activities ></b>", "") mymenu.addMenu("athletics","<b>athletics ></b>", "../../../groups/sports/") mymenu.addMenu("services","<b>services ></b>", "") mymenu.addMenu("staff","<b>staff ></b>", "") mymenu.addMenu("library","<b>library</b>", "../../../groups/library/") mymenu.addMenu("boosters", "<b>boosters></b>", "") mymenu.addMenu("ptsa", "<b>ptsa></b>", "") mymenu.addMenu("alumni","<b>alumni</b>", "/alumni/") mymenu.addMenu("help desk","<b>help desk</b>", "../helpdesk/") ****** more details****** "library, alumni, & help desk" don't garble and behave correctly and "athletic" doesn't garble but doesn't allow for sub menu Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to the website http://www.hhs.fuhsd.org/ 2.Slide mouse over the menu in the left column 3.Compare results using MS Explorer Actual Results: Menu garbles and submenus cannot be accessed Expected Results: Menu should stay readable and allow for submenu selection. Problem has been around since the beginning of the school year. It happens on my desktop and laptop computers, both running XP.
http://www.hhs.fuhsd.org/ looks the same for me in IE6.0, Firefox v1.02 and Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050330 Firefox/1.0+ Reporter, is this still an issue for you? If not, it will get marked Invalid or something.
The web page has been updayed since the problems was first reported.(In reply to comment #1) > http://www.hhs.fuhsd.org/ looks the same for me in IE6.0, Firefox v1.02 and > Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050330 > Firefox/1.0+ > > Reporter, is this still an issue for you? (In reply to comment #1) This is no longer an issue since the web site was totally redone since the bug was originally reported. > http://www.hhs.fuhsd.org/ looks the same for me in IE6.0, Firefox v1.02 and > Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050330 > Firefox/1.0+ > > Reporter, is this still an issue for you?
