nothing wrong and also benfits provided by turning on the timebomb in the daily mozilla and netscape commercial build. lets get this turned on and tested as soon as we can. experiance shows getting the timebomb feature right is not a slam dunk. removing the branch comments from status whiteboard.

I could turn it on, if someone could tell me when beta1 will expire.
The beta1 expiration date is supposed to be August 4, 2000. This was in another bug... but since the question came up here... I thought I'd add the info. Please get this landed RSN. As chofmann, we don't want to wait for the branch for this landing.
I checked in fixes for this today. Marking as fixed.

marking verified with a caveat - you can still browse to your heart's content at other sites even if this your version has expired. This is different from 4.x, where you could only hang out at netscape.com. I like this way better personally.
