thunderbird incorrectly imports settings from outlook 2003

when i installed thunderbird i wasnt given an option to import from outlook
2003. i chose to import from plain outlook. my folders were imported fine but
when i tried to send/receive email, i got an error message stating "sending of
password did not succeed."  i use the internet service provider "everyone's
internet" at:

www.ev1.net

please help me. i really look forward to using your product. thanks

2.get error message stating "sending of password did not succeed"
3.

retrieved email from isp.
