Confirm.
And I think that this is a problem of looking like bug218498.
In the case with this report, "Message -> Copy->..." is effective to the copy.
It is not "Edit -> Copy".
In Outlook, the message can be copied with "Edit -> Copy".
Windows XP
Tb 1.0 release
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
In either the summary/preview pane or a message window, Edit..Copy is greyed out
until I select some text. At that point I
a) press Ctrl-C
b) Right-click and choose copy
c) use Edit...Copy
Ah! I can't paste into another application, but I can paste into (for example)
a new message in Thunderbird. I think this is the first time I've tried copying
text from a received message into another application.
The received message is plain text, I'm using WinXP SP2. Apologies for not
having time to try a nightly build.
Mark.
I have the problem that copy is greyed out, but ctrl-C does work for me. (Linux,
1.0.2).
