I'm closing this bug. I found a bug report on Sun regarding this, bug ID
4930673, http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=4930673
I did find that just deleting the deployment.properties file by itself did not
correct the problem. I had to delete the entire ~/.java directory.
By the way, this would only effect Unix and Linux platforms according to Sun.
The status of the JRE bug is "In progress, bug" and effects the entire 1.5.0 branch.
