User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 When switching to tabbed mode, Firefox opens 2 tabbed pages - neither of which are the page that I had originally had on screen when I switched to tabbed mode. In my opinion, this should keep your "currently" browwsed to page as the first open tabbed broswer screen, instead of taking you to 2 generic Firefox screens. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Browse to a page on the web 2. Right-click in teh grey area near the top of the screen, and select "Open in Tabs" 3. My browsed page is GONE, and 2 firefox tabbed pages appear. Annoying to have to go back to my page after I was already there. Actual Results: Described above. Expected Results: Kept my original surfed-to page as teh first tabbed page.
It sounds like an extension may be at fault. I only have 5 choices when I right click and none of them are "open in tabs". Try recreating using firefox's safe mode and then a new profile. If this solves the issue than it is likely an extension is at fault. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode_(Firefox) http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/profile#new In the future use one of the community suport support options first before filing a bug http://www.mozilla.org/support/#community.
