The [CLEAR] is not functional and greyed out after entering text for "Subject or
Sender contains:" search box in messaging. Only way to undo the search is to
manually, eg. enter the search box and delete, the text.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start mail
2. select folder, eg. inbox
3. enter text in "Subject or Sender contains:" search box

Actual Results:
upon entering first character in the "Subject or Sender contains:" box, the
CLEAR button stays greyed out and inactive

Expected Results:
upon entering first character in the "Subject or Sender contains:" box, the
CLEAR button should become active and when pressed, clear the contents of the
"Subject or Sender contains:" box.
