User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050130 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050130 Upon initial launch of web browser, the right side scroll bar when first initialized is not drawn -- only upon mouse-over or select is it drawn correctly. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. launch mozilla 2. enter URL of webpage that longer than single screen 3. Actual Results: scroll bar outline appears but the control or slider isn't drawn correctly... either not the right size... eg. 5 page webpage shows slider that's 80% of height... or not there at all just a grey track without the slider control. Expected Results: scroll bar should initialize and slider should appear in the grey track and be proportionate to the number of pages to be scrolled through.

I was seeing this same behavior on OSX 10.3.8 with a 20050421 build. It may be fixed in 2005050409, but in this build the scroll bar is only about 2 pixels wide, so it's fairly hard to tell...

Upon further investigation, I can verify that this behavior is still present in 2005050409...

Does this occur on both themes?

Dave, can you still reproduce the problem with a more recent build?

I'm still seeing it (or similar) on 20050820, OSX 10.3.9. It's not necessarily that the bar isn't drawn, but when you switch from one tab to another, the bar stays where it was for the tab you came from instead of being in the appropriate place for the newly selected tab. Most noticable when you open a link in a new tab when you're already well down a page and then go look at the newly opened link and the bar isn't at the top (assuming the new link didn't put you at an anchor)... Peace

On further testing with 20050820, it appears that this only happens the first time you select a newly created tab that was allowed to load in the background (ie "Open Link in New Tab" with "Load links in the background" selected in the tabbed browsing preferences). The much less commonly needed horizontal scrollbar across the bottom doesn't even appear in newly loaded tabs that require it unless you click just above the status bar, also only the first time you select the tab. In both cases, if you select the tab, select another tab, then reselect the newly created tab, both the vertical & horizontal scroll bars will be correct on the second selection of the tab... Peace

Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v1.1.9 ?

I'm resolving this as wfm - no response from the reporter and I don't seem to be able to reproduce it on (mac) trunk.
