The mail server responded: Bad address syntax. Please verify that your email address is correct in your Mail preferences and try again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create an address book list. 2. Add member cards with email addresses 3. Add a member card without an email address. 4. Compose a new message. 5. Address message with list name. 6. Attempt to send message. Actual Results: The error message listed above in details appears as a modal alert window, and the message is not sent. Expected Results: Thunderbird should check to ensure that all addresses are correct before sending them out to the server, and either warn the user more precisely of where the problem lies, or give the option to send to all valid addresses.

I try it with TB3 beta1 and I can see that the bug is always here. Only difference: the step 3 is not directly possible. You need to: 3.1. Add another member cards to the list (with email addresses) 3.2. Then delete this email address (TB doesn't allow anymore to add member with no address to a list, which is good). Expected Results: Thunderbird should give the contact name that as no address in order to make it easy for the user to correct his list.
