After closing a tab, the title of the closed tab remains in the title bar of
Firefox.

This bug occurs on 20050201 trunk build (win32 for me).

This bug does not occur on Firefox 1.0.



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open an extra tab
2. Close the extra tab

Actual Results:  
Title bar of Firefox contains the title from the tab you just closed

Expected Results:  
Title bar of Firefox should revert to the title of the remaining tab

it also sometimes doesnt change the title when you switch to another tab, weird

I find that if the tab is still loading, then the title bar still displays the
title of the last selected tab

based on the minimal description I cannot reproduce this.
Is it the way the tab was opened, menu New Tab, ctrl+T , middleclick link,
middleclick tabbar, leftclick context open in tab ?
Or the way the tab was closed ?

I can also confirm this bug. By time I notice it though I forget what all I did
before that that caused it. But I have seen both the title stay in after a tab
has closed and title staying when switching tabs (more of the latter) I haven't
seen this in the last few nightlys but probably 3 or 4 days ago this happend a lot!

I can no longer reproduce this bug (I'm now using 20050228 build), so it may
have been fixed since I reported it.

This is how I reproduced it:  I opened a new tab by middle-clicking on a
bookmark in the bookmarks toolbar.  I closed that tab by middle-clicking on the
tab.  The title of the closed tab remained in the titlebar.

However, I seem to recall it happened regardless of the method used to open the
tab.  So it may have been something to do with the way the tab was closed. 
Either way, it's working for me now too so I'll resolve as WFM for now.
