User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) Build Identifier: If one message is selected, and you select all messages, then selecting the original message again (specifically, the one message that was selected before) will fail to refresh the message-content pane. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select one message in some mail folder (tested with local folders only). 2. Click Ctrl-A to select all messages. Since multiple messages are now selected, the message-content pane is emptied. 3. Click (using mouse) on the message that was selected in step 1. Actual Results: The message content pane remains empty. Expected Results: It should display the re-selected single message. Note that if a *different* single message was selected (not the originally-selected one), everything works fine and the content-pane is properly filled.
This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter. In reply to the automated message: this bug is still reproducible.
This bug is demonstrated when making _any_ multiple selection, not only Ctrl+A for Select All. e.g. Click on one message, hold Shift or Ctrl to select other messages, then (without holding a modifier) click on the original message again -- the message window remains blank. This is demonstrated on Linux Thunderbird 1.0.7 using: gtk+ 2.8.10 glib 2.8.5 gdk 2.8.10

Reporter, does the issue still occur with the latest supported 2.0.0.x / Shredder trunk nightlies? (1.5.0.x is now end-of-life and the latest supported Thunderbird version 2 is 2.0.0.16)
