User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

This problem is fully reproduceable. whenever I attempt to forward an email
message containing a lot of graphics, Thunderbird completely freezes up requiring
a kill command.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select email message with lots of graphics
2. Click forward button
3. Application hangs

Actual Results:
Thunderbird hung solidly requiring the issuance of a 'kill' command

Expected Results:
Forwarded the message to the specified receipients.
Version: unspecified → 1.0
Reporter: please can you define "a lot of graphics" in terms of number of
files/images and size.

also: are you sure thunderbird isn't just taking a long time to process the
selection? is the cpu 100% busy, or 0%?
This was the email sent to me by the reporter. Trying to forward it works for
me on Thunderbird version 0.6+ (20050205) - current trunk (Linux Mandrake 10).

Reporter: were you using thunderbird 1.0?

Yes, here are the specifics of the version:

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
