User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050201 Firefox/1.0+ (stipe) Build Identifier: Running TB 1.0 on a Windows XP Pro SP2 install, 1ghz celeron, 512mb sdram, 40gb hd. Running zone alarm pro, latest version(disabling firewall doesn't change this). Also, user is connected to the internet via SBC Yahoo dialup. Reconnecting does not fix problem. Only way to solve this ATM is to reboot. No error messages being displayed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. See above. 2. 3. Actual Results: Software refuses to connect and download email from pop3 server after a couple of hours. Expected Results: Software should perform as expected. I'm running the same version of this software on a dual p4 1.8ghz xeon w/ 512mb rdram, 120gb disk, windows xp sp2, but i'm not on dialup.
What will happen when you disable whole activity of all of Zone Alarm & your anti-virus software & firewall function of MS Win XP? Read anti-virus software's manual/guide for mail scannning function(local mail proxy function) first, since your POP3 server access is affected.
I've disabled NAV and Zone Alarm to no avail. Firewall function in XP is not running while ZA was running, nor was it running after I disabled Zone Alarm. I did uninstall ZA and put XP's firewall back online, and apparently something in ZA is breaking TB(outlook express worked fine while ZA was running). I'm closing this bug and marking it invalid.
