Viewing my inbox, I see two unrelated messages being threaded together.
When I copied both messages to a different inbox, they did not thread.

These two messages are unrelated.
Unfortunately, I deleted one of the objects from my inbox before I remembered
to capture a screenshot.

Incorrect threading still happens in version 102.0b2. Two different conversations have been threaded together, one as a sub-thread of the other (I have screenshots, if needed).
However, when I select a message in one of those conversations and select "Open in conversation view", the conversation displays correctly, i.e. without including messages from the other.
All in all, then, Thunderbird seems to identify conversations correctly but to thread them incorrectly.
