This would be useful for users that setup an SSH tunel from local port for
example 55555 to remote mail server. And, hopefully, there is a place on the
form to make the field a little wider, so it would show up to 5 digits. (I
believe maximum port number is 65535?)

I created this bug 281226 for Thunderbird and bug 281227 for Mozilla. Are they
really duplicates? Does it mean that Mozilla and TB come from the same codebase?
(so that this bug could be fixed on one place in code for both Mozilla & TB?)

I see the same results for current TB that I see in Mozilla (as posted in that
other bug) -- which is, the port fields for POP, IMAP, News and SMTP are wide
enough for five digits, if not more.
