User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux ppc; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20050207 Firefox/1.0 (Debian package 1.0+dfsg.1-5) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux ppc; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20050207 Firefox/1.0 (Debian package 1.0+dfsg.1-5) I gave the body of this page a .5in margin, to keep the contents .5in away from the edge of the printed page - but Firefox adds an additional .5in margin. http://cgi.sfu.ca/~jdbates/tmp/resume/200502080/resume.xhtml Consequently, to print correctly, I must set Firefox' margins to 0. It would be convenient if Firefox collapsed the body & printed page margins according to the CSS recomendation - taking their maximum, instead of their sum. Thanks! Jack Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open http://cgi.sfu.ca/~jdbates/tmp/resume/200502080/resume.xhtml in Firefox 2. print, or print preview Actual Results: The printed page had margins of > 1in Expected Results: The printed page had margins of .5in, as specified by the CSS
