Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040616 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040616 Two Chatzilla users confirmed that when the same Magnetic Mirc user entered the chatroom, a second tab for the chatroom opened. Everthing posted by the new MagMirc user appeared in this separate window. User also did not appear in user list of main room tab but was listed alone in the new tab. Nothing unusual was apparent to users of other clients including the Magnetic Mirc user. If a Chatzilla user enters the room AFTER the MagMirc user, MagMirc user appears in the user list, but a new tab will open as soon as the MagMirc user posts to the room. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have the magnetic mirc user enter the room. 2. 3. Actual Results: A separate tab opened for the same chatroom isolating the Magnetic Mirc user. Expected Results: Treated the MagMirc user as any other user and not opened a separate tab.

What the heck?
Ok, can you at least tell us the following:
- what version of ChatZilla you have (use "/about" and copy that if you are
unsure).
- what you were running ChatZilla in (looks like Mozilla 1.7).
- server name, if it is public.
- the entire output from running the "/supports" command on that server.
- the name of the channel and the nickname of the 'magnetic mirc' user. If
you don't/can't reveal these exactly, could you tell us what of the
following they contain:
- any upper-case letters?
- any of the following characters: [ ] \ ^ { } | ~
- any non-alpha numeric (e.g. accented, Japanese Kanji, whatever)
- what is the new tab called/labeled? (again, if you can't say exactly,
try to figure out what is different about it from the normal view and
tell us that)
- what is in the heading box at the top of the new view?
- does anyone see anything you say into the new tab?
As with any other problem, if you could be as verbose and detailed as possible
with the information, we may be able to identify and/or fix the problem quicker.
Thanks.

If there are no more comments on this in the next two weeks, I am going to close this as WORKSFORME as it is not reproducibly by anyone I know of, and the reporter has failed to provide any extra information to help with the problem.
