The whole Mozilla suite (mozilla-1.7.5, thunderbird-1.0, firefox-1.0)
(downloaded in binary from) were working well with glibc-2.3.2.
As soon as I have upgraded to glibc-2.3.4 (release 2005/01/27) with NPTL
they all crash upon startup.

Reproducible: Always

I'm seeing this problem with Firefox 1.5 on Mandriva Linux 2006 using glibc-2.3.5.

A few seconds after starting, it crashes with this error:

I've just upgraded Thunderbird to 2.0.0.0 on Gentoo.
I use gcc 4.1.2, glibc 2.5-r1
When I receive any e-mail then Thunderbird crushes with this message on console:

No information for ~3 weeks since last comment, resolving incomplete.

Please comment if the issue still occurs in the latest supported 2.0.0.x or trunk nightlies.

I don't have any problems anymore since I'm using glibc-2.7 now.
