User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Version 1.0 (20041206) Start typing a new email message, then paste in some text that has a different format and keep typing. You've adopted the format of the text you've pasted. Under no circumstance that I've come across is this appropriate. I want to finish my email with the same text format I've started with. It's appropriate to have the pasted text remain in it's original format, but don't adopt it for subsequent typing. This is different from ER 273008. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. New message. Type in your default format (font, size, etc). 2. Find some text in another app that has a different format. Copy it 3. Paste it into the new message. 4. Hit return and keep typing >>> Note that you've adopted the pasted text format Actual Results: You've adopted the pasted text format Expected Results: You should retain the text format you were typing with prior to the paste Workarounds: 1. Type beyond your paste point. Paste between your typed text. This is the best workaround but it requires foresight. 2. Select the text that you typed after the paste and change the format back to how it was.
