This is not a bug, but a suggestion
I was not able to find a suggestion entry point, so I address this point as a bug
sorry about that :-(

It is not possible on a ftp:// site to download an entire directory (contrarily
to the venerable IE, :(  )
This would b usefull :
1- for beginners who do not know about real ftp
2- casually, when you find a site with a few small files to download, being able
to directly to it from within firefox would be a bonus
