There should be an option to specify which folder is used for trash.

This is similar to bug # 279141 and # 277854.

When a user switches between email programs, it is nice to retain the same trash
folder.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
There should be an option to specify the trash folder in Tools Menu > Account
Settings > Copies and Folders

Actual Results:
Option is not available.
Definitely this would be a good thing. Right now, thunderbird causes my imap
server to stick a Trash file in my home directory, which is kind of annoying.

This is still a problem in Thunderbird 1.5 Beta 1 -- this version lets you
specify custom names for several other folders, but not for the Trash.
Duplicate.

Can't believe I hadn't seen Bug #24064 before. It blocks Bug #182274 which is the bug regarding having a UI for selecting a trash folder.
