I have set: Tools > Options... > Advanced > Tabbed Browsing > Open links from
other applications in: a new window
Now when I click on a link in Thuderbird, for example, and Firefox is already
running, the existing Firefox window will be focussed for a fraction of a second
before the new window is opened. This itself would not be an issue, but when I
then do a Ctrl-Tab to switch back, the first Firefox window appears in place of
the expected Thunderbird window.
You can of course press Ctrl-Tab-Tab, but I would consider this a bit of a
usability issue neverthless.
Reproducible: Always
