User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Many sites have all kinds of animated images (gif, flash, whatever). They distract my attention and make me tired, so I'd like an option to disable them. ( I think animated gifs are the worst, as they are used for "flickering" images. Reproducible: Always
See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_:_Tips_:_Animated_Images for how to set the pref to disallow image animation. bug 192440, bug 242237, bug 267141 deal with getting something similar for flash. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 227886 ***
