Many sites have all kinds of animated images (gif, flash, whatever).
They distract my attention and make me tired, so I'd like an option to disable
them. ( I think animated gifs are the worst, as they are used for "flickering"
images.

the pref to disallow image animation. bug 192440, bug 242237, bug 267141 deal
with getting something similar for flash.

sorry for bugspam, long-overdue mass reassign of ancient QA contact bugs,
filter on "beltznerLovesGoats" to get rid of this mass change
