(In reply to comment #2) I think I might have figured it out -- spoofing the user-agent to Safari seems to consistantly crash the browser. Setting it back to Camino prevents the crash. It's still a problem if Safari is able to render a page that Camino can't but it's not the problem I thought it was at first.
