The bigger-than signs at the beginning of every zitat line in the Mail Editor
are modify to pipes when I will send the Message.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Reply to a Mail or News
Actual Results:
The bigger-than signs are modifyed to pipes.

Expected Results:
Nothing modifing.

I use Enigmail.
They modify to "pipes" (the '|' character) or to quote bars, which are drawn as
one continuous line from top to bottom of the quoted text?

If the latter, see
  http://www.holgermetzger.de/efaqmailnews.html#4
If your complaint is specifically for the display of format=flowed messages,
mark this as a dupe of bug 88986. Otherwise, setting the preference
mail.quoted_graphical to False should fix your problem; in which case, mark
the bug: Resolved | Invalid

If the former, run Thunderbird in Safe Mode (which disabled Enigmail) and see if
you get the same results. If not, file a bug with Enigmail and mark this bug:
  Resolved | Invalid

How can I run Thunderbird in SafeMode.

If I start it with
thunderbird.exe -SafeMode
, I cant see a window. If I change to Thunderbird via Monkey-Grib, than I
see that Enigmail is runnig. I see the pipe bug, and I will ask for my
GPG-Passwort.

It might be case sensitive -- try thunderbird.exe -safemode
If that doesn't work, then I'm stumped.

If I start thunderbird via
thunderbird.exe -safemode
then it starts correctly to its windows. But Enigmail are not disabled.
I will ask for my GPG-Passwort.
And I see that the bigger-than signs will modify to pipes.

This bug is fixed. It was a bug in enigmail 0.89 . A update to 0.90 was the
solution.
