And how is this now a Thunderbird problem? This is rather a problem of Enigmail.
i don't think so, isn't tb the piece of software that 'calls' enigmail?
I have no idea how these calls work, i only know some parts of Enigmail are quite "hacky" ;). Maybe you could get some feedback from their mailing list under http://www.mozdev.org/mailman/listinfo/enigmail/, the Enigmail devs read there, too (if this is a enigmail or tb problem)?
