when using 2005021605-1.0.1 firefox bits on mac os x 10.3.8, using the Find toolbar resulted in a crash. 0. started with a new profile created with this 1.0.1 build, default settings, no migration. 1. go to ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/ 2. hit cmd+F, which brings up the Find toolbar. 3. start typing a search string in the Find toolbar. results: crash. Tracy also saw this on mac os x 10.2.8, and he also noticed that this didn't occur if the profile were created with a current trunk ffox build. also note: not a problem with 1.0, nor a problem with using Find toolbar in a recent trunk ffox build.

since today's 1.0.1 build lacks talkback, tracy is gonna search out the regression window --perhaps y'day's build might exhibit this (and have talkback).

tracy cannot repro this on linux fc3, nor can I repro on winXPsp2 (200502160x-1.0.1).
Summary: crash using Find toolbar with 1.0.1 build → [Mac] crash using Find toolbar with 1.0.1 build
