I was poking around the Mozilla site, trying to get help for another weird bug
(which has not been addressed yet). I think I somehow subscribed to a newsgroup
or something. Now my Local Folders icon has a little yellow lock on it, and my
Inbox, Sent folder, et al. are missing. All I can do is subscribe or
unsubscribe to newsgroups which I don't know how to use anyway. I am baffled
and totally frustrated. Not even my roommates, professional programmers who
both use Thunderbird, can help me. Can you?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
I have no idea. Sorry.

Expected Results:
Why should it have happend at all? Why is this happening to me? Why am I being
punished? I tried to use the FAQ!!!

The original problem I had, which continues, is that my browser suddenly stopped
showing .swf flash files. It used to work just fine, then suddenly quit. I
deleted my slightly older Mozilla (1.7), and reinstalled an updated one, but it
didn't work. I also tried reinstalling shockwave. Mozilla still says it
doesn't know how to handle that type of application/octet stream (shockwave
flash). e.g. http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail70.swf
This is irritating but not critical like my e-mail problem.
Please only one problem per report. For the Flash problem, you need the flash
plugin (not Shockwave), see http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/OSX.html#Flash.
