using 2/17 build of mozilla 1) launch mozilla 2) launch editor 3) enter some text 4) make it bold/italic/underline now I notice this random behavior where the selection is gone...it should remain selected after changing the style...random problem though... all platforms.
I've seen this, too -- or, more often, some of the text stays selected, but not all of it. Mike, any idea what's going on here?

we need to fix for Beta 1..
add keyword beta1 per sujay's comments Sujay--can you please provide a reproducible testcase for this bug? Also, is this just a cosmetic drawing problem (refreshing window draws selection properly) or is the selection actually changed?

can't reproduce using weekend builds....I'll reopen this one later if I can reproduce the problem...you can mark WORKSFORME.
must have been some instability in teh builds last week...woks fine now... in 2/22 build.
