If you go on working with Thunderbird immediatelly after changing the local directory, the client, though doesn't hang, becomes totally inoperable. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Change Local directory of any account 2. Send or receive mails 3. Try to operate on the mail of step 2. Actual Results: When sending mail: stucks at copying mail to 'sent' folder When receiving mail: only header displayed in mail-list window, no operations could be carried out on the mail Expected Results: Warning message that Thunderbird is about to be restarted.
