Description

Danm says:
Just loading about:blank and sitting still, there's a leak in nsTimerManager.
Three times a minute, GetTimer, AddTimer and RemoveTimer are called once
each. Each of them allocates a new nsVoidKey, which it ships off to its
hashtable of timers, and never deletes. This accounts for 72 bytes of leaks
per minute. Not real worrisome, but annoying.

I should add that on a page with an animated gif, the timers are fired much more
quickly. This leak count transcends annoying to ... looks like 40K/minute.

I don't have a comment on whether this is fixed or not and when. Reopening

this bug never said which build this fix was put into. But page loads for
2000-02-28-09-M15 build on Win32 platforms, and especially WinNT were very good.
