User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Displaying http://www.salisburywrecking.com with IE6, there is text and a scrolling graphic on the left, with a parts request form and a list of vehicle manufacturers on the right. When displayed with Firefox, the screen element that were on the right with IE6 are on the left. The parts request form is over the top of the text, while the scrolling graphic is over the top of the list of manufacturers. Also, the menu items in the top frame are red in IE6, with the selected one in black. Firefox displays them as white, which is particularly unfortunate when you consider that the text is white. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Display http://www.salisburywrecking.com in Mozilla Firefox 2. Compare same page with Internet Explorer (correctly displayed) 3. Actual Results: The screen elements are incorrectly displayed. Expected Results: The screen elements should be in their appropriate positions on the screen as per IE6. This is more of an opinion than additional information. I can't recommend Firefox to anyone when there are what appear to be fundamental errors. I will cite my ignorance of the nuts 'n' bolts of how browsers work, but displaying fairly common sorts of pages would seem like a gimme. This defect would render the affected site useless if Firefox was my only browser. Unfortunately I can only really give the problem a normal priority even though it probably deserves "normal point five".
This screen shot shows the incorrect Firefox display of the screen
This screen shot shows how it is displayed in IE6. This would appear to be correct, because there are no overlapping parts, and the parts that the source says should be on the right of the screen are actually where they're supposed to be.

Looks like there's an XML error, IE would ignore this because it doesn't support XHTML at all. http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.salisburywrecking.com%2Fwelcome.html http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.salisburywrecking.com%2Fwelcome.html&usermedium=all

Redirects to http://www.salisburywrecking.com.au/ now. Site's been totally redesigned and now functions (and renders) identically in Firefox 2, Camino trunk, and Safari 3. FIXED.
