whenever trying to access http://www.tau.ac.il/medlib/
firefox crashes without any notifications or any kind of output

Reproducible: Always
Make sure you have Sun's JRE 1.5 correctly installed.

jdk1.5 is properly installed.
and you don't crash if you open :
http://www.java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml ?

i do crash on this site. so what is the problem?
Do you have a correct SYMLINK to the java plugin (no copy) ?

libjavaplugin_oji.so -> /usr/local/jdk1.5.0/jre/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so

symlink is correct.
after a reboot it doesn't crash anymore.

who is to blame, sun or fedora?
