links do not transfer to any page. If right-click "open link in.." is used, a
new window or tab opens showing the same page, not the one indicated by the link

2.bugger all happens

Actual Results:  
nothing

Expected Results:  
transferred to a new page

Any extensions installed? Have you tried it in safe mode (
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode_%28Firefox%29 )?

Works for me as well, using a 1.0 branch build.
