The form seems to have messed up my name... Author's name should actually be
"Frédéric Mercille" (or if that doesn't come out right either, it's
"Frederic", but with an acute accent on both e's (HTML entity é, or
unicode character 0x00E9).

We seem to have a problem with unicode in some fields.  This is one of them. 
And unfortunately it will escape the html.
