During my test the download folder was on a Samba share. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Create a folder "Downloads". Create a folder "Putty" in "Downloads" Move file Putty.exe in Downloads. Download a file in folder "Putty" Click "Show File Location" on Downloaded file. Putty.exe starts. Actual Results: Putty.exe starts. Expected Results: Show the Download folder in Explorer
this was fixed, but only for 1.8alpha1 and later releases... since bug 211894 is not marked security-sensitive, I'm removing the flag here. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 211894 ***
