One site seesm to use HTML layers to display commercials. The floating layer
includes button called "close me" whih makes the layer "off" in other browsers,
but in Firefox the layer is "stuck" as semi-invisble.

It's better that you visit the site to see the effect.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit http://www.aimoo.com/forum/freeboard.cfm?id=311102&NoCaches=Yes
2. Click floating commercial's "close me" button
3. The layer is still visible with vibrating effect in the screen.

Expected Results:
No layer is visible, no vibrating effects.
Reproducable with 1.0, but wfm with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1;
en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050219 Firefox/1.0+

Marking wfm, please reopen if you can reproduce with a nightly trunk build.
Also, be sure to have tested with a fresh build before filing bugs.
