I help maintain the installer tree of the mozilla suite.  I need cvs access to
fix 1.8b2 blocker bug 264980

I guess dveditz is vouching and in a hurry to get you access (per msg in IRC)...
  ssh account created.  I'll leave the bug open for marcia to decide if she
wants to collect the form.

ssu is the original author of the installer code, he just needs the account
switched over to SSH (coming to the SSH party late becuase he's been working in
a private AOL tree for the past long while). Would be nice to get some of his
patches back into our tree.

(speaking of which, did AOL meet the terms of the MPL by posting their
Modifications to the installer and any other code when they distributed photon?)

Well, photon never got shipped (maybe one beta with the mozilla installer code
base).  One of the main relavent code changes did get merged with mozilla,
however most of the 'minor' tweaks that would not apply (and definitely not
build) on the mozilla tree.

There might be a few of these tweaks on the aol tree which would probably
benefit the mozilla tree, though it would take some time to get it properly
merged with.

If the minor tweaks are still wanted, I can land on the branch I created from
which the aol tree originally was generated from and start from there.

Apologies to Sean and others for the strange replies by me to the initial filing
of this bug.  There were emails on the subject to cvs-admin that explained
things before the bug was filed which I just pulled out of my Junk folder in
Thunderbird.

It would be good to get the form at some point, yes. Sean can fax it as his
convenience.
