But when viewing it in firefox it goes way toooo fast. I have asked other firefox users and they experience the same. Reproducible: Always

Could you confirm that the movie settings include 25 f.p.s. and that the clip should therefore finish in about 3 secs.

If that is too fast, then the animation file should be modified so that it specifies a slower speed. I am not familiar with what "IT" stands for, but if IT is showing the animation a slower speed, then IT is incorrectly ignoring the 25fps rate specified in the GIF.
