As it seems that bug 278643 shows "2 distinct, separate, distinguishable layout
problems", as I couldn't find a duplicate and as it does not affect rv 1.5 but
only rv 1.8, I will attach a testcase showing the consequence of
div:first-letter on upper and lower case letters.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open testcase i will attach on Windows as I don't remember about Linux
2.
3.

Actual Results:
The layout is modified when div:first-letter set a font-size or weight

Expected Results:
as it did with rv 1.7.5, set the same height whatever the letter lowercase,
uppercase, a or b

Actually, the current behavior is correct. See bug 21616 and the CSS spec
