Hoses Firefox

Expected Results:
perform functionality
What version of bandwidth tester are you using?
Is it the latest available?
In e-mail from reporter:

Yes, I just installed it a few days ago. When I first launched it at
that time, it updated to the latest version, and functioned as
expected. It was working up to today ( Timestamp: Tue - 22 Feb
2005.1021.38 (Mountain Standard Time) ). I checked the firewall and
there were no restrictions.

What bothers me is the FireFox error handler does not seem to be working
properly (as I understand error handling reqirements: detection
[specific algorithm s/w responsiblity to rainse error exception],
issolation, containment [do not allow error to stop meta-structure
functionality], error reporting [notify central system {in this case:
Mozilla} transparently to user [assuming permission granted by user;
notify algorithm developer], correction [update] if possible).

FireFox is by far the best browser going. IE is irrelevant now other
than a model for user requirements (discarding Microsofts
restrictions). Everyone is doing a super job which is obvious by the
growing popularity. Usage is a valuable vote of confidence.

----

The fact that you get the window with "Error" would suggest that the error
handling is being done (I am not sure of this and am no expert on this subject).

It is probably worth sending a report of this error at the developer of the
Bandwidth Tester plugin as I suspect that the non-useful error message is
probably originating there.

Hopefully they will be able to solve your problem, or if there are issues with
firefox provide you with an insight into what is causing it so that somebody can
solve any issues.
The extension developer will need to release an update to get it to work on
nightly builds. Not a Firefox bug.
