Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
I downloaded Firefox from mozilla.org and installed it on two computers
succssfully. The third install , on a PC running XP Pro , seemed to work, but
the application will not access any website. A Dialog box appears indicating
that the web address is incorrect. I tried several different sites with the same
result.
All other Interent applications (IE, Outlook) work fine, so I know that my DNS
server can be accessed.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install product
2.Run program
3.Will NOT find any wqeb page.
Actual Results:
Dialog box appeared indicating web address could not be found.
Expected Results:
Gone to my home page.
Did you check the proxy settings? Do you have a firewall active which blocks
specific applications?

Feb 22 while using firefox I clicked on red circle with tree (update button)
which asked if I wanted to add 2 updates. I accepted and it installed them
telling me to shut down the browser to finish install. I accessed several more
sites before logging off.
When I tried to log back on I recieve an alert! "______.com could not be
found. please check the name and try again." message for every website attempted.
Thanks for your hard work and attention, I love firefox and it got rid of
problems even norton could not handle. I am reduced to using Mozilla and explorer.
So please tell us if you use a firewall like Norton Internet Security or so. If
so, please check if firefox.exe has permissions to access the internet.
Firewalls check the program files for changes (like you with the update), if so,
they deny access possibly.

Please reopen if this is not a firewall problem.
