The menus start working again if you cancel the download or wait for it to finish and close the download manager window. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.start firefox 2.download something (eg http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/nightly/latest/mozilla-powerpc-apple-darwin6.8.dmg) in the download manager 3.close the firefox browser window 4.click on 'File' Actual Results: The word 'File' is highlighted, but no menu appears. Same for other menus. Expected Results: I expected a menu to appear.
