housecall.antivirus.com is an online virus scan site. It uses ActiveX to do so
in IE, and Java to do so in anything else. The problem is that the java applet
that is loaded to do the virus scan, crashes Firefox and never loads.I don't
know if this has to do with the java code or Firefox, or a combination of the
two, but I do know this is something that should be looked into as trendmicro is
famous for its online virus scans.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to http://housecall.antivirus.com
2.Click on "Scan now-It's free" and proceed until you load the java applet
3.Firefox will crash upon loading the applet

I can confirm this bug using:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050222
Firefox/1.0+ (MOOX M3)
and
Java 1.5.0 (aka 5.0).

I cant do anything in firefox when I go there, clicking on the X button to close
firefox does so but firefox.exe still appears in the Task Manager. I also dont
have the activex plugin for firefox installed if that matters.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
