I keep my trash sorted by date, descending, grouped by sort. It provides group
headers, "Today", "Yesterday", "Last week", "Two weeks ago", and "Old mail".
When I keep Mozilla running for a couple of days or several sleep and wake
cycles, these headings become corrupted/garbled and the message list pane
displays these headers as ????, or blank, or other random-seeming characters
instead of the categories noted above. The plus-sign indicating the header is
still there. Functionality seems normal. Display damaged. This has been
happening for a while now -- probably since 1.6 or earlier.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Mail/News, check mail etc., sort folder by date and group by sort
2.Sleep system twice or more
3.Re-open mail/news and look at sorted folder

Actual Results:
Sort headers display garbage text or no text

Expected Results:
Sort headers should display proper strings.

I can upload a screen capture if desired.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
