I often iteratively update a document with someone via email attachments. He
sends a document, I make some changes and sent it back, he replies with his
updates, etc.

The natural way to do this is to create a reply to the message, open the
attachment, edit it to enter your changes, and then send the message.
Unfortunately that doesn't work: the changes are discarded when you close the
editor, and you send the exact same thing you received. To get the behavior you
want you've got to save the attachment somewhere, edit it, and then attach it to
the reply. It's an error prone and cumbersome procedure.

It would be nice if the natural way just worked. Changes to attachments to a
reply (and perhaps other messages too) would be copied into the attachment, so
the recipient received the changes without further messing around.

Reproducible: Always
