User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5 Firefox 1.0 I used Internet Explorer on Service Pack 2 and Java apples work fine. However, I have found that Firefox does not allow Java applets to play midi-based music. I emailed Jagex (the owners of runescape) about the problem and they said they couldn't get it to work. Here's another problem I've found: Usually when you type something into the address bar your cursor moves to the end of the string (mozilla.com|). However, for some reason whenever I try to do this something like this will happen: (m|)(m|o)(mz|o)(mz|io) and so on. If you dont understand that illustration, read this: every other letter or so that you type, the cursor is moved one space to the left instead of moving all the way to the right. This doesn't always happen like that, which makes me think that whenever the java applet refreshes, the errors will occur. I hevn't played many other java-based games since then so it could just be a glitch with Runescape, but nonetheless it does work with IE. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to runescape.com, click play game (you do not need to have an account). 2.Click high or low detail. 3.Choose any free world (or member world if you are a member) 4.After the applet and game code loads all the way, you should see a logon screen. Actual Results: Music doesn't play when you see the logon screen. Also, when you try typing in ANY text box, whether it's the address bar, the search bar, or even an HTML based GUI <input type="text">, the text you type into it will become twisted. Expected Results: Music should be playing, and the text you type into dialog boxes should be normal. When I said it twists the text in ANY dialog box, I meant all dialog boxes not associated with the actual java applet itself. P.S. I know a lot about programming and such, so if you need any more expertice, I'm here =). Thank you!
